About the Founder:

Nancy, the driving force behind “Traffic Tutor” Driving School, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the world of driver education. With a distinguished career as an ex-VicRoads Licence Testing Officer, Nancy has an understanding of the criteria necessary to pass driving tests and, more importantly, how to instill good driving habits that last a lifetime.

Safe and Responsible Driving:

Our primary goal is to instill the importance of safe and responsible driving in all our students. We focus on defensive driving techniques, road etiquette, and hazard perception to ensure that our graduates not only pass their tests but also become courteous and conscientious drivers who contribute to road safety.

Passion for Education:

At the heart of our driving school is an unwavering passion for teaching and empowering new drivers. We believe that learning to drive is about more than passing a test—it’s about building confidence, safety, and lifelong skills. Our instructors are dedicated educators who bring patience, expertise, and enthusiasm to every lesson, ensuring each student has the support and knowledge they need to drive with assurance and responsibility.

Professional Expertise:

Nancy spent her time evaluating countless drivers seeking their licences. This role not only allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the licencing process but also gave invaluable insights into common challenges faced by new drivers.

Just the best

My daughter has just passed her driving test. When she started off, she was so nervous and unsure of herself but thanks to Nancy, she is now a competent, confident and careful driver. I would highly recommend Nancy to anyone who wants to learn to drive with confidence and skill no matter what stage you are currently at. Nancy delivers an excellent service and does not try to sell you an expensive driving lesson package. My daughter had her first four lessons with Nancy and then Nancy encouraged her go off and to do her hours. Once she was down to her last 20 hours we got Nancy back for a few more lessons to fine tune her skills for her test. Once Nancy said she was ready we knew it was time and Nancy was there on test day. Cannot thank Nancy enough. She is an amazing driving instructor and to top it all off she is a lovely human being.

Was honest and understanding

Nancy was an excellent teacher who understood my personal emotions and challenges as a driver. I would get very nervous when driving even when I was confident in my driving abilities, and she helped me work through this. Nancy was full of tips and tricks relating directly to the test that ultimately helped me pass. Nancy was always kind and we had great banter, which made the experience much more enjoyable and successful. I would 100% recommend Nancy!!
